letting the chatbot read my fiction database
The plot database is a pile of JSON — characters, scenes, arcs, the backs of envelopes, the versions of the version. Useful to me. Opaque to any model that hasn’t been handed it properly.
StoryPlotter MCP is a custom Model Context Protocol server that speaks this pile fluently: coherence checks across arcs, character roleplay with real continuity, scene generation that doesn’t contradict chapter three, structured brainstorming with the database as ground truth. A sidecar on Coolify next to the chatbot, so every LibreChat conversation has the option of touching my actual story world.
It is the difference between an LLM that guesses and an LLM that remembers what you’ve already written.
